Scripture & Prayer

Psalm 18:30 (NIV) As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

As you can see i'm late getting online today. I had a long night. I have severe gastric problems. To the point the acid from my stomach gets into my throat, sinus and just burns and then triggers asthma attacks. I even vomit pure foam. The insurance company is 2nd guessing my doctors. For almost a year I've been pretty much heartburn free. The wonderful doctor put me on not one nexium but two a day. One in the a.m. and one at night. Within weeks my asthma attacks had started to clear up. I was having 3/4 a day. The burning, battery acid coming from my stomach started to lesson and I was able to move from a constant diet of the B.R.A.T. diet. A year later, my life had gone to pretty much normal. In one fatal swoop, the insurance company messed it all up. They said there was no reason to take two nexium today, that is way over the recommended dosage, and refused to pay their portion. To make matters worse, they have refused to pay for the 1 pill a day. So I have been back on prilosec for almost 3 weeks. I'm telling you I have no use for this stuff. I've tried it a dozen times before, it just doesn't work. Last night was the worst its been in awhile. It took to prilosec and (emergency dose of nexium), alka seltzer at 3:00 am, tums at 4. Herbal tummy tea all night long. Finally around 5 I got some relief and got a few hours sleep almost in a complete sitting up position.

Today I had 1 c. apple sauce, 2 baked chicken tenders and it started again, by 3 this afternoon, i thought someone uncorked a battery in my stomach. By the time hubby gets home on Friday I just may be in the ER. I know my medication is the biggest culprit in all this, and there just is now way around some of my medications.

So please if your reading this pray for me. Lord, you know whats going on with my body. Please give me relief, heal my stomach and make me whole. In your name I pray amen.
