Scripture & Prayer
Ecclesiastes 7:9 Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools.
To day we were up and out the door before I even had a chance to post. So I am behind. This is a fitting scripture since hubby and I fought today.
Heavenly father, please grant us patience, with one another. Let us be as forgiving and as slow to being provoked as you are. In your name amen.

Well it looks like my ripple scarf is turning into an afghan. I like the pattern so much and the colors I've decided to continue on with it. Not sure who it will go to. Maybe me. lol. So far I've really not kept anything i've made except a few dishclothes and hand towels and a scarf.

Crochet
Yesterday I practiced on the ripple stitch. Made a scarf in tan fleck and reddish varrigated. Its getting better. My favorite hook size is an M and its a little to big for this stitch, so I'm goin to move to a J next here.
I finished a 10" square in royale blue for Jimmy, it goes into the mail today. My favorite stitch. A textured stitch. He is another gentlemen and his wife that is kept in my daily prayers. So I just need a Rose colored square to start and get out. Now, I know i have some rose colored yarn, just bought it for that fact. But what storage bin did it land in. So later today I'm off to search. I've decided bins are not a good way to store yarn. They are hard to see in, hold to much, (so your always digging) and really very bulky to store in a corner or closet. I need to come up with a different system that will store the yarn, but protect the yarn from the dust and puppy and the general environment.
Well hubby has meeting so time, to turn off my music and make the house ghost quiet. I usualluy don't mind, but lately the meeting can go on for hours and I do mean hours. I hate a silent house that long. I guess I need to buy a pair of wireless headphones for my lap top. But even that gets to my ears, it just not the same as having the music open and around you. I found an awsome gadget for my desk top that is in the shape of a fish and i just click it and wallow, christian radio. Love it!!!!
BTW IT IS FRIDAY. YIPEEE!!!! Hoping we will get more done in the computer room/craft room, this weekend. Nothing break down please, no emergency errands to Lewistown or for anyone else.
I just purchased 45 dollars worth of yarn and goodies from a gal on Crochetville, who has severe diabetes and is giving up crocheting. Some of the yarn I have been looking for, it seems to be out of stock in most stores. Dern that means I just blew my stashbusting numbers. But then again isn't that the idea, to use, so I can buy more.

Scripture & Prayer
Leviticus 19:8 Therefore every one that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
Lord we thank you again for the hot, beautiful day you have given us. I have many on my prayer list, bless them, heal them comfort them and give them strength. You know what each of their needs are and I believe you are all powerful, if it is your will heal those that need healed, bless those who need blessed and dwell in the hearts of all. I too, am asking for prayer. As always strength, for the day to day things that life brings on and hey, if you can see your way to it, I'd like my trip to Colorado to go through in July. Again, thank you for all you do. Amen

Bible scripture & Prayer
Colossians 1:9-12 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance.... in the kingdom of light.
Lord we once again thank you for all you do for us. There are many that need to be kept in our prayers. Heal them, bless them, comfort them. Whatever their need is, please meet it. Give us the strength and the willingness to walk your footsteps and be what you need us to be. Again I thank you for everything. You are almighty and powerful. Amen

Crochet
Wednesday found me very busy. I made 4--6" chairity squares for a woman, who's sister lost her husband to a stroke. She is putting together a comfortghan.
I made 2-10" squares for another woman who husband has cancer and is making a comfortghan to help keep him warm.
I also found an on going project for a lady in MN. Crocheting scarfs for kiddies who have nothing (mom's live in a shelter, while trying to get on their feet). I managed to crank out two today. I put some skeens of yarn in the van in a bag and will continue to work on some out their while we are going places. A perfect vehicle job.
Now I need to get back to cracken' on the blankets for NONI's kids. I think I have 4 to send her at the moment.
In case your wondering, i'm a memeber of a site called "Crochetville". Where at lot of these people are also memeber of. Its a cool site. If your a crocheter or knitter come check it out. If you just want to look at some of the awsome projects come as well. I'm Goldiepel over there. (Someone had my BLOG name there. so sad. lol.)
So other than that its been a slow day. hehe. I'll try and get some pictures posted in the next day or two.
Oh yea, I recieved two awsome squares from a buddy at the ville, for my two comfortghans i'm working on. That is 4 total, and i've had a post that there is more to come in the mail. Yippee.

Scripture & Prayer
Hebrews 3:6 But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast.
Good morning all. Today promises to be another hot one. We were up to 97 yesterday and with the humidity level it was just miserable. Hope this is not the way the whole summer is going to be. Can you believe another thing broke down yesterday. Yep. The lawn mower quit in the middle of mowing the lawn. Hope hubby can fix it.
Speaking of hubby, because he needed some special papers for work and I had no idea where to look. He is home again for the rest of the week. Yippee. Although, he sure throws a wrench into my daily activities. I still love having him home.
Lord, Once again, thank you for all your many blessings. Even this hot weather i'm sure to be complaining about. You are awsome and all powerful and I thank you for your blessings in my life. Amen.

Scripture, Crochet, Prayer
Deuteronomy 1:21 See, the LORD your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your fathers, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
It is a beautiful day (as long as you stay inside with air-conditioner) other wise it is hot & humid. I'm fine with staying in, keeps my allergies and asthma happy. I did piddle around in the yard after 10 pm last night. Transplanted a few plants that looked like I got them too close together.
Still working on the purple/pink queen granny, and then started another one. Not a granny. This is with some Caron Simply Soft Brites, the picture on the label looked so fun. (for a child) and I'm itching to work with some soft yarn again. The pattern is a little on the small side to read, so I thought I would go their site and see if I could down load the pattern. Nope, they apparently do not offer this pattern anylonger. So I best not loose this label. (I think I will scan it into the computer, then I can turn it into a pdf and make the print larger.) I can't finish up on the shades of brown granny until I can find the right color "off white" to continue on. It was 3 balls of scrap "off white" I had and I'm not sure what brand, or actual color so I'm having a heck of a time. I thought about ordering, but it is so hard to match a color on line. So I've hit the hobby lobby's. They had some, but not the right texture. Now its time for Michaels and see if maybe Jeffrey Allans sells yarn. Otherwise I'll go back to hobby lobby and settle for a different texture. Otherwise I'll just turn this into a baby/toddler afghan and say good and start again.
Lord, thank you for giving us this beautiful day. And working air-conditoners. For the beautiful flowers that are in bloom all around me. Thank you for all the blessings you give me. A wonderful husband, two awsome boys and a ton of brothers and sisters and family to be thankful for. You are truly an awsome heavenly father and I thank you.

Scripture, Prayer, WL and lots of good news
I am made all things to all men. 1 Corinthians9: 22.
Goodmorning everyone, or should I say afternoon. Thank you Lord, for your blessings, for giving us all things you created. The sun, moon, stars, the beautiful blue sky and rich brown the earth. The glorious, beautiful array of colors in the flowers. And yes Lord even for all the rain we keep getting. Just Lord, it is enough for the moment. Thank You for all you do. In your name Amen. We've had so much rain and the humidity is so high, that I think I'm growing gils, if not I should. Arggg, I want to live in a semi dry climate.
Well everyone the reason I'm so late here, is i've had a "trojan" virus on my computer and we know where it came from. Beware of coupon sites. I though I would go to a couple and print out some coupons and save some money this weekend. With in a few hours I was having major problems and once I remembered where a couple of the site I had been at, my hubby was able to trace the trojan and get rid of it. But not before it did some damage.
We had to replace the airconditoner in the BR. That done, was nice to sleep in a cool room again. Took hubby's dad to Monicals Pizza for FD and visisted with them for awhile. I finished my "Shades of Yellow" textured BB blanket for my son's, friends, wife. It came very pretty, but much heavier then I had wanted for a summer baby. I'll post pictures of it later today or tomorrow. I have one skien left to go on my rust colored granny and then its done. Yippeeee, I finally got the ripple pattern. I had to have hubby read the pattern over with me and he caught a little note that I was missing "hid" between two pictures. What a difference that small amount of information made. lol.
My WL was not very good, but I didn't gain and I'm always happy with a "no gain". Other good news, hubby is now a perm employee of the company he has been working for the past two years with. Yipppeee. Don't know if that will mean a move to chicago later on or not. Kinda hope not. Chicago has no "super walmarts', no big lots that i've found and i've found no Goodwills or Salvation army's that i like to frequent. My visists up there have alway been boring.
